by kadavoor love hugs and kisses question by Aesa: Parents and "K..I have started a REALLY annoying ritual with my son and I don't know how to break it.? My son will be 2 on Friday and since he was about 18 months he has been REALLY obsessed with cleaning utensil's like the mop, broom, and especially the vacuum... It's almost like an addiction.. Anywhere we've ever been (including other people's homes) he just starts saying "Vacuum! Mop! Broom! Want it now!" ... Things like that. When I tell him no, he flips out... So about 4 months ago I figured out that having him tell the vacuum/mop/boom "night night" and pretend like it's going to bed, has worked to get him to leave it alone without a fight..This is a preview of Parents and “K..I Have Started a REALLY Annoying Ritual With My Son and I Don’t Know How to Break It.?. Toys for Children: A Commercial From the 80′s, the Toy “for Parents Who Care About Their Children”.?

by Ron Sombilon Gallery toys for children question by D: A commercial from the 80's, the toy "for parents who care about their children".? Oh man, I've been trying to remember what toy this was for. I'm mostly just looking for the commercial, it was one of those "call this 1-800 number and order this toy now!" commercials. But the reason I'm looking for it so bad is because the end of the commercial said "for parents who care about their children." And I remember, as a kid even, thinking how screwed up that was, I think they only ran the commercial for a few weeks and then changed it, but I'd love to find the original. Does anyone remember the toy or have a link to the commercial, it was sometime in the mid to late 80's. I think it was building blocks of some sort, maybe Better Blocks, but I searched youtube and can't for the life of me remember what the toy was. This is a preview of Toys for ...

...  and kisses clothing question by Deans: Do any of you parents have experience understanding Sensory Processing Disorders? My daughter is 4. She has more acute senses than most people in all 5 of her senses...especially touch. For the past few months she has difficulty with her clothes "bothering" her. Also her hair bothers her quite often. She has even woken during the night with her sheets bothering her. She will not wear any clothing that isn't jersey knit...and even then it often "bothers" her. It seems to be exacerbated when she is ...  "I'm CRAZY!!" I have not called her crazy...but her own words accurately describe how she appears. I have tried so many oils, creams, and lotions with no success. I have been giving her Zyrtec per her doctors request when it flares up. I can't tell if it helps. I feel so bad for her. She really feels awful when it flares up...and it does seem to come and go...and the intensity also varies. Can anyone help...or offer advice? This is a preview of Hugs and Kisses Clothing: Do Any of You Parents Have Experience Understanding Sensory Processing Disorders?.
