My little sister is 11 and still has toys on her bed & on the shelf. Is it okay for an 11 year old girl to still have small stuffed animals?.. She doesn't play with them all the time, but occassionally she does, they're more for decoration. She gave away trash bags full of toys to Goodwill.

Well Im eleven and I still play with toys , but I just dont tell anybody. I bet almost everybody at the age of eleven still plays with toys so its ok.
At that age the toys become her collection. Speaking from experience, I’ve collected japanese toys since i was 12. Now I’m 39 i still collect japanese toys. Its a fun hobby but expensive.I play with my collection sometimes but they are most of the time on my shelf for display. Toys are meant to be played with even if its your collection. No harm done. Its what the individual thinks not what other people think.
I’m 18. I just graduated from my high school, with Thespian honors and Spanish honors and School honors, I have a 3.92 GPA, friends, and a scholarshipped-ride to my first choice college. I am a functioning member of society, I buy groceries, I hang out with friends, I go on camping trips and believe in God. I have a boyfriend.
I still have my stuffed animals in my bed with me. Don’t ever take them away from her. I kept mine for all these years and I turned out just fine.
Yes it is perfectly normal. Why rush to grow up so fast? My daughter turning 11 loves her toys she does collect a lot of things, her room is filled with stuffed animals and given the chance she will get as many more as she can! She doesn’t care what any body thinks either, which is one of the things I love about her. She has a 16 yr old sister who picks on her all the time about it, and it does hurt her feelings, so be a nicer sister then she has and just let her be herself and be a kid while she can, because once you grow up you don’t get to go back.
Definitely fine. Toys give young teens stability. It’s a little piece of their childhood and they can look at them and feel safe and secure. Even if she plays with them occssionally, it’s more of a stress reduction type of thing.
If you notice, she will play less and less and just enjoy looking at them more and more. No problem at all.
Don’t force her to throw them all out. She may regret it in adulthood.
