laughing asked:

I’ve been wondering about this for ahwile. I mean, your actual heart is kinda ovalish, right? So why do love hearts look different from the organ heart, and how did they get that look? Thanks to any answers that help!

Love hearts are a symbol of love, which is an act of sacrifice and unification. The two halves of a red love heart means the the one that loves another breakes one’s own heart to give one half of it to another whom one loves. The other symbolism of the two halves is in the act of unification of two into one single being for those who love each other wish to become one. That’s the symbolism of the love hearts.

when u look at the outline of the human heart, the aorta kind of projects out a little making a v shape in the middle in correspondence to the opposite side thus the heart shape.. it doesn’t matter if its oval or round
